Thomas Blue is a professional versatile photographer that has been in the business of photography for almost 17 years. Having photographed various subjects for several years, it would not be until 2003 when famed photographer and filmmaker Gordon Parks would compliment Thomas’s work that would lead Thomas to pursue a career in photography.
For many years, in various capacities, he has gained an array of experiences in various contexts in which he has utilized his talents. Thomas would best describe himself as an Artist with photography as the medium with which he is proficient. Along with published books and major syndicated magazines, he has also had his work appear on television networks.
Currently he is participating in the “Impossible Project” as well as going back to the basics by printing black and white photographs from his personal collection. Thomas is planning to have an “Impossible Project” photo exhibit in late Fall 2016. He’s also available for lectures and workshops regarding his knowledge and history of photography.
